Microsoft is introducing ten new AI agents within Dynamics 365, designed to assist with sales, customer support, and accounting tasks. According to the company’s website, these agents will be available in a public preview starting in December 2024 and running through early 2025.
Create Your Own AI Agents with Copilot Studio
In addition, Microsoft announced that beginning next month, users will gain access to new tools in Copilot Studio, allowing them to build custom AI agents. These agents will function autonomously, eliminating the need for constant human oversight. However, Microsoft has not yet disclosed the pricing for this feature.
“Next month, these capabilities will move from private to public preview, enabling more customers to redefine critical business processes with AI. Agents draw on the context of your business data in Microsoft 365 Graph, systems of record, Dataverse, and Fabric and can support everything from help desk to employee onboarding, and act as a personal concierge for sales and service,” explained Jared Spataro, Microsoft’s Vice President.
Microsoft’s Expanding AI Capabilities
Microsoft’s advancements in AI stem largely from its collaboration with OpenAI, which has helped the company pioneer tools that generate text and images, reminds NIX Solutions. The Copilot AI model, first introduced publicly in December 2023, marked a significant milestone. In January 2024, Microsoft further expanded its AI offerings by launching a Pro subscription version, available to all users.
We’ll keep you updated on new developments as Microsoft continues refining these features, pushing the boundaries of AI-powered business tools.
