Course Structure and Topics

Kaggle, commonly known for its competitive data science challenges, is also a rich educational resource for both novice and seasoned data scientists. With a user base of over 15 million across 194 countries, interest in this generative AI course is expected to be high. The structured course content spans five days, covering foundational and advanced topics in generative AI:

  • Day 1: Foundational Models and Prompt Engineering
  • Day 2: Embeddings and Vector Stores/Databases
  • Day 3: Generative AI Agents
  • Day 4: Domain-Specific LLMs
  • Day 5: MLOps for Generative AI

Each day, participants will engage with technical papers, podcasts, and hands-on code labs via AI Studio. Interactive elements include a dedicated Discord channel, where learners can discuss the daily content, and live sessions on the Kaggle YouTube channel led by Google ML researchers and engineers. These 45- to 60-minute live Q&A sessions, which will be recorded for registered participants, provide opportunities for further clarification and include some “fun surprises” to enrich the experience.

Course Requirements and Completion

Participants need both a Kaggle and an AI Studio account, both of which are free but require email sign-ins. Although the course does not offer a certificate or points on Kaggle, participants will receive a completion badge on their Kaggle profiles, adds NIX Solutions. This course is open to anyone wanting to expand their understanding of generative AI. While no prerequisites are required, familiarity with Python and basic generative AI concepts will enhance the learning experience. We’ll keep you updated on any future course announcements or changes.
