WhatsApp’s New Pinning Feature

WhatsApp is finally allowing users to organize their messages with the introduction of the long-awaited pinning feature. Users can now highlight the most important conversations by pinning them to the top of the list. This feature allows for quick access to essential contacts and groups without scrolling through the entire list of messages. “Starting today, it will be easier to focus on those who matter to you. You’ll be able to instantly find the contacts and groups that matter most in the Calls tab and chat filters,” the company said in a blog post.

To take advantage of this new feature, users need to select the Favorites filter on the Chats tab, then click Add to Favorites and select the desired conversations to pin. We’ll keep you updated as more enhancements are introduced.

Instagram’s Enhanced Reels and Notes Feature

No less interesting changes have occurred on Instagram. The platform has added support for multiple audio tracks simultaneously to Reels. Now, one video can contain up to 20 audio tracks. Tracks can be mixed, trimmed, or have unnecessary parts removed, allowing for the creation of more complex and engaging videos.

NIXsolutions add that Instagram is introducing a new Notes feature, which allows users to share reactions and highlights in Reels posts and feeds. However, these Notes will only be visible for three days, as the idea is to share the most relevant moments and instant reactions.

Meta is starting to roll out these new features on WhatsApp and Instagram from today. However, it is noted that the update will occur gradually and will be fully available to all users within a few days. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated on further developments.
