CGI, one of the largest IT consultancies in the world, acquires TeraThink, a leading company focusing on the US government. The transaction closing is planned for the end of March.
The merger is carried out in order to expand opportunities in the development of enterprise applications. By combining the capabilities of TeraThink and its own range of data analysis and development services, CGI plans to increase the scope of support for applications that it provides to government agencies.
NIX Solutions adds that last year, CGI acquired Sunflower Systems, another company specializing in developing and deploying software for various needs.
